Integral Impressions, an innovative web development company in downtown San Diego, is seeking an on-call/contracted system administrator. Telecommuting is ok.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Tests, installs and configures new network related hardware and software.
•Performs daily network administration tasks.
•Stays current on updates and service packs for network operating systems and software.
•Implements and maintains server clusters and load balancing.
•Implements and maintains web servers: security; backup/recovery; and related problems.

EDUCATION : Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field preferred. Experience will be taken into consideration for educational requirement.

EXPERIENCE : 2 years clustering, load balancing, familiarity with Backup technologies, Webistrano, Litespeed, Monit, Scout, and others.

Work is assigned as needed, with some regularly scheduled monthly processes. Most work takes place within 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Mon-Fri, with exceptions for on-call emergencies.
