It's Getting Easier to Be Green

by Angela Bull

Almost 40 years ago (if you can believe it), Kermit the Frog sang a song that has not only endured the test of time, but the test of relevancy, as well:
“It’s Not Easy Being Green.”

Back then, this song hinted at the racial and cultural environment of the time, and sent a message of being comfortable with one’s unique lifestyle. Today, it’s commonly used in reference to the environment as a culture all its own, and to stepping out of one’s comfort zone into a “greener” lifestyle.

Making your lifestyle “greener” can be as simple as replacing your lightbulbs and reducing your water usage, and as elaborate as installing solar panels or buying a hybrid car, but no one method is all inclusive, or enough.

Integral Impressions is thrilled to be a part of exciting new avenues to help us all get a little greener. We are teaming up with Greenwala and Digital-Telepathy on two unique projects that will not only help you learn more about getting green, but also connect you with the steps you can take to get there. Stay tuned!

No promises that we’ll be singing about it though. We’ll leave that to Kermie.

So after watching another 20 minutes of awesome Kermit clips (good stuff), I got to the link for Greenwala, and it looks promising, with the lingering curiosity of how the site will lead down the steps towards improving my greenness. I eat the green m&ms already, and hope that’s included as part of the process.
